New River Community Church North New River Community Church South Dress comfortably. While some people dress up, most wear casual and comfortable clothes on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings. Don't worry about what you wear, just come and experience the difference. Plan to arrive about 10-15 minutes before the service starts (click here for service times). This will allow plenty of time for parking, getting a cup of coffee and snack at Kisimu Kafe and finding a seat in the auditorium. Yes! Swing by our Guest Information Counter in the lobby, (you can’t miss it) A member of our host team would love to show you around and answer any questions. They will assist you in finding our worship environments designed for you and your children. If you’d like something to drink or eat, you can pick that up for FREE at the Kisumu Kafe’, our coffee shop. While you are here, relax. We hope you feel comfortable, accepted, engaged, and inspired. If you have Preschool aged children, birth through PreK, you can take them to Kidz Kove (click here for more info). In Kidz Kove, we provide a safe, clean, and secure environment where your children will be well taken care of and taught a practical and easy to understand lesson from the Bible today. If you have Elementary School age children, in grades K-5, you can take them to River Kidz (click here for more info). In River Kidz, well trained and equipped leaders will sing with your children, play games with them, do dramas for them, teach them the Bible, and interact with them in age divided small groups. River Kidz is AWESOME. Your children will love it. If you have children in Junior High or High School, bring them into worship with you. Our students meet most Sunday nights at our North Campus from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm for games, worship and some small group time to dig deeper and build relationships and accountability. Click here for more info and a calendar of upcoming events for NRS {New River Students}. We usually start our time of worship together by singing. After we sing, one of our pastors will teach from the Bible. If you didn’t bring a Bible with you, and you’d like to follow along, you’ll find one on the rack underneath one of the chairs in front of you. If you need a Bible, feel free to take a Bible home with you. After the Bible teaching, we usually sing some more. After worship, feel free to hang around, ask questions, or just relax. You may find yourself wanting to be more connected with God and with what’s going on at New River. We believe Jesus came to initiate relationship with Him, not to be religious, so we emphasize connection and relationships.
